Mr. Donald Ray Lackey Sr.'s Obituary
Donald Ray Lackey Sr. age 65, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 in Nashville. Donald is preceded in death by his parents Fount and Stella Lackey and his best friend, Jim Parrinello. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Belinda Lackey; two sons, Donald Ray Lackey Jr., Jeremy Lackey; four brothers, Fount Lackey Jr. (Marie), Phillip Lackey (Karen), Gary Lackey (Phyllis), Jimmy Lackey; one sister, Pat Gammon; one grandchild, Cody Lackey. Donald enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved to fish, mow his lawn, turkey shoots, guns and road trips in his younger days. He also enjoyed baking and sharing pineapple upside-down cake with friends and family. Donald will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him. Visitation for Donald will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 4 PM until 8 PM and again on Friday, July 6, 2018 from Noon until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216.
