Mr. Donald Earl Lemmer's Obituary
Donald Earl Lemmer, age 92, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2019. Donald was born June 14, 1927 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late John Samuel Lemmer and Garnet Mossman Lemmer.
Donald was a retired Master Sergeant for the United States Army. He proudly served his country in WWII and Korea as a paratrooper, making 105 jumps during his career. He was a member of Connell United Methodist Church in Goodlettsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rose Ella Lemmer; son Donnie Lemmer; brother Wilbur Osbourne.
He is survived by his niece, Carolyn Mitchell; daughter-in-law Paula Lemmer; brother-in-law Miller Bloodworth; grandchildren Alex Lemmer and Katarina Lemmer; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 10-12 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will take place at 12 PM Thursday. Burial w/ military honors will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
