Donald Thompson McIntyre Jr.'s Obituary
McINTYRE, Donald Thompson Jr. age 84 of Portland march 29, 2009. he was a retired Captain with the Metro Fire Dept., a member of Bumpus Mills Church of Christ and Shelby Avenue Church of Christ, served his country in the navy during WW II. He was preceded in death by wife Peggy McIntyre. Survived by daughter Donna McIntyre, sons Andrew McIntyre, Kevin (Susan) McIntyre, Keith (Cindy) McIntyre, Brian (Kristi) McIntyre. 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren, sister Freddie Kestner. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday April 1, 2009 at 1PM at Spring Hill Cemetery with military honors. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday 4 til 8PM at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 5110 Gallatin Rd., at Briley Pkwy., 615-865-1101
