It is with profound sadness we announce the death of Donna Jean Surrett Hale who passed on Thursday, August 25th, 2022.
Donna, who was known by her loved ones as Jenny was born June 5th, 1971.
Jenny is survived by her husband William Hale, her daughter Rachel Lee Thornton, her step sons William Hale, Mark Hale, her grandchildren Gavin Harper, Abigail Davis, Arianna Allen, her siblings Stephen Surrett, Daniel Surrett, Michael Surrett, Teresa Surrett Manns and Linda Surrett.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Her love for her kids Rachel Lee Thornton and Brandon Wayne Thornton was the driving force in her life. She loved her family more than anything and she spent her life taking care of the people she loved.
Jenny spent the last 9 years as a homemaker but had spent 20 years prior working hard in industries where she cared for others.
She is proceeded in death by her mother Donna Bentley Surrett, her father Stephen Surrett, step daughter April Hale Wyatt, maternal grandparents E.L. Bentley, Margery Jean Camp Bentley Wilson and paternal grandparents Lucias G Surrett, Minnie Mae Stockton Surrett.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is being arranged and will be announced to this obituary once finalized.
