Mrs. Doris Philabaum Freeman's Obituary
Mrs. Doris Estella Philabaum Freeman, 88, formerly of South Bend, Indiana, Florida and a resident of Nashville, died Saturday, April 19, 2014.
The South Bend, Indiana native was the daughter of the late Walter Philabaum and Mary Peterson Huggins. She was a saleslady for River Park Jewelry in South Bend. She enjoyed taking cruises, slot machines and bringing joy to all around her.
She is survived by her husband, Vernal Harry Freeman; 3 step children, Doug, Debbie, and Ron; 5 grandchildren, Scott, Melissa, Rob, Rick, and Randy and 10 great grandchildren; a niece, Mary Kay Freel and several other family members. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Sobecki and a son, Gary Philabaum.
A memorial service and inurnment will be held at a later date in South Bend, Indiana. Arrrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery.
