Ms. Doris C. Gibson's Obituary
Doris C. Gibson, age 84, of Mt. Juliet passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015. She was born February 11, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Herman W. and Sarah (Potts) Conn. Doris is also preceded in death by her son, Ronald Keith Polston; and brothers, Herman and Buddy Conn. Doris retired from Aladdin Industries after many years of service. She is remembered by her family as a lady who loved her cats, crocheting, crossword puzzles and watching Judge Judy. She will be greatly missed.
Doris is survived by her son, Robert L. Polston Jr. (Linda); daughter, Janice R. Polston Becker (Bob); daughter, Robin Tickle (Polston) Stromatt (Mark); brother, Wesley Conn (Linda); grandchildren, Tara D. Winters, Mandy N. Mann, Christopher R. Polston, Cory S. Tickle, Dane A. Polston, Keith F.L. Polston and Blake A. Byrd; great-grandchildren, Chamberlain Nocera, Samuel Mann, Jet Speigel, and Joseph Mann.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday and from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2015 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
