Mrs. Dorothy Lee Duncan's Obituary
Dorothy Lee Duncan, age 91 of Franklin and formerly of Nashville, passed away March 5, 2013. Mrs. Duncan was born on February 15, 1922 to the Late John Bradley and Flossie Brown Miles. She was raised in Gallatin, TN and graduated from Gallatin High School in 1940. Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Harold Duncan. She is survived by her children, Daryle (James) Tallent, James Monroe Duncan and David Harold (Lynda) Duncan; grandchildren, Alistaire (Scott Purdy) Tallent, Amanda (Stephen) Baker, Casey Tallent, James Eli (Rhonda) Duncan, Jamie Taylor Duncan, Megan Duncan; and great-grandchildren, Shelby, Fletcher, Andrew, Emerson, Emma, Hudson and Chandler. Active pallbearers will be: Eli Duncan, Stephen Baker, Durward Fuqua, Edward Fuqua, Bryan Edens and Steve Evans. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7th from 4-8 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home and on Friday, March 8th from 10-11 a.m. at Belle Meade United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, March 8th at 11:00 a.m. from the Belle Meade United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Gildemeister officiating.
