Mrs. Dorothy Evelyn Woodroof Reeder's Obituary
Dorothy Evelyn Woodroof Reeder of Hendersonville, TN passed away on February 20, 2018 in Davidson County. She is preceded in death by her parents, Duncan Currey Woodroof, Dorothy Belle Duke Lane; and loving husband of 63 years, Donald Reeder.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Ernie) Burns of Georgetown, SC.; brother, Rick (Karen) Woodroof; and grandson, Grant Dickson of Bozeman, MT.
Dorothy was born in Whites Creek, TN on May 14, 1931. She attended East High School and was a member of Tom Joy, Madison and Rivergate Church of Christ. Dorothy was very proud of her husband’s accomplishments, his 45-year employment with Washington Industries as Vice president and manager. She herself was employed for 25years with Dr. Jeff Pennington in Madison, TN as office manager. Dorothy had a wonderful sense of humor and an undeniable laugh. She touched the lives of so many and will truly be missed.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 2-5pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life Funeral Ceremony will be Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11am with an hour visitation prior.
