Dorothy S. Meador's Obituary
Dorothy South Meador, age 86 of Nashville, passed away on November 27, 2023, at Alive Hospice.
Survived by son, David Gregg (Pam) Meador, daughters, Jeannie (Kenny) Lewis and Amy Meador; grandchildren Brien (Katie) Lewis, Elisabeth (Andrew) Eagar, Ben (Samantha) Meador, Chris (Sierra) Meador, and Will Thornton; great-grandchildren Olivia, Isaac and Hannah Lewis, and Callie Meador.
Dorothy loved to talk to people and learn their life stories. She was always ready and eager to help those she could, and share her love with them.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mary Queen of Angels and Alive Hospice for their love and care for our Mom.
The family cordially invites friends and relatives for a time of visitation on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, from ten o'clock in the morning until the time of the celebration of life service at twelve o'clock noon at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216. Dorothy will be laid to rest at a private service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alive Hospice, or the charity of your choice.
Final arrangements for Ms. Meador are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, "Where Nashville Comes to Remember."
