Dorothy Nell Morgan's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ms. Dorothy Nell Morgan on December 13th, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dorothy was born on September 2nd, 1933, in Nashville to William Malloy “PQ” Jackson and Thelma Humphrey Jackson. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She could absolutely cut a rug on the dance floor with her family and friends. She loved arts and crafts, and designed the most amazing silk floral pieces anyone has seen. Her family was her heart and soul, especially her children and grandchildren. Her legacy will live on in those she leaves behind to cherish her memory.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents William Malloy “PQ” Jackson and Thelma Humphrey Jackson. She is survived by her children Ronnie Blea (Melissa), Robbie Quilty Clark (Butch), Michelle Dillree, Charisse Dillree, and Yvette Brehm (Sean); grandchildren Nicholas Blea, Joshua Dillree, Tyler Blea, Travis Blea, Taylor Quilty, Zack Quilty, Tayler Brehm, and Chelsea Brehm; siblings Thomas “Blackie” Jackson, Gerald Jackson (Carol), Curtis Jackson, Peggy Mallory, Evelyn Hicks (Fred), Sandra Bryan (John); 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
The family cordially invites guests and relatives for a time of visitation on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023, from ten o’clock in the morning until the funeral service at twelve o’clock in the afternoon, with burial to follow at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216.
Final arrangements for Ms. Morgan are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, “Where Nashville Comes to Remember.”
