Ms. Dorothy B. Watson's Obituary
Dorothy B. Watson, age 89, of Joelton, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018. She is preceded in death by her Parents, John Bruce Sr. and Julia Nunley Bruce; one brother, John Bruce; three sisters, Margaret Bruce Rivera, Jennie Sue Bruce Ragland, Frances Bruce Smith; One son, Lee Roy Bruce, Ex-Husband, Leroy Roy Watson. She is survived by her twin daughters, Julia Watson Gifford (Garlen), Amanda Watson Burkhardt (Melvin). Grandchildren, Dana Bruce and Jill Ackerman; Tracey Tirl (Gabriel), Matthew Burkhardt, Christi Burkhardt, Scott Gifford (Alesha), Heather Gifford Parker (Damon); Great -Grandchildren, Mikey Gifford, Joey Gifford, Allison Gifford, Hadden Parker, Dillon Parker, Alyssa Parker, Blayne Burkhardt. Dorothy loved to do arts and crafts and make teddy bears. She was considered a good cook and loved to cook for friends and family especially around the holidays. She also loved animals, especially her dog Chi-Chi. Visitation for Dorothy will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 4 PM until 8 PM and again on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 1 PM until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
