Dorothy Nell Youngblood's Obituary
Dorothy Nell Bryant Youngblood, age 95 of Cottontown, TN, known to many as BamBam, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Signature Healthcare in Portland.
Mrs. Youngblood was born on November 13, 1930, to the late Emmett and Tottie Bryant in Bloomington Spring, TN. Mrs. Youngblood married Olen Lee Youngblood on February 28, 1958. They were married for 33 years before his passing in December of 1991.
Mrs. Youngblood is preceded in death by her husband, Olen Lee Youngblood; sons, Jimmy and Ronald Youngblood; son-in-law, Jackie Carter.
Mrs. Youngblood is survived by her daughter, Connie Carter of Cottontown, TN and son, Larry (Tammy) Youngblood of Cottontown, TN; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Youngblood of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Sara (Kris) Jones, Jim Youngblood, Ashley (Andrew) Scott, Jimmy Lee Cater and Chelsea (Clint) Warren; great-grandchildren, Grayson Jones, Tucker Scott, Sterling Youngblood, Harper and Willow Warren; brother, Donald (Dorris) Bryant.
Mrs. Youngblood retired from Washington Manufacturing as a seamstress. She was a member of Clearview Church of Christ, and avid quilter, loved working jigsaw puzzles, playing cards and spending time with the local senior citizens.
Dorothy loved her family enthusiastically and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Celebration of life service will be held at later date.
