Douglas O. Taylor Jr, age 72, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 28th, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Ruth Taylor. He is survived by his sisters, Deborah Sheppard and Mary Watkins; 6 nieces and nephews; special friend Lorene Givens and a host of extended family and friends. Douglas was a simple man that enjoyed gardening and helping senior citizens in the community. He never met a stranger and was kind to all those around him. Visitation for Douglas will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Raod, Nashville, TN, 37216, from 4 PM until 8 PM. A Graveside service will be conducted from the grounds of Spring Hill Cemetery on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 11 AM. Friends and family are requested to meet at the graveside.
