Drew Rederick Maddux, Jr.'s Obituary
MADDUX, Drew Rederick, Jr. "Ric" Age 51 of Cross Plains passed away on Monday, December 27th. He was the self employed owner of Maddux Construction Co. He also served as President of the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee in 2003 and was awarded Builder of the Year in 2004. He also was involved in the building of 7 homes for Habitat for Humanity, having served as Chairman of the HBAMT Habitat for Humanity building committee for two years. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ford L. and Lena W. Maddux and Edward W. and Vivian W. Joyner; and niece, Ansley Ford Batey. He is survived by his parents, Drew Rederick and Judy J. Maddux, Sr.;wife, of 29 years, Deborah Maddux; daughter, Sloane Maddux; sister, Lee Ann (Roger) Maddux-Batey; nieces, Brooke Gilliam and Lila Batey; and nephew, Parker Batey. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Sumner Co., P.O. Box 97 Hendersonville, TN 37077. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 30th at 1PM with visitation from 12 Noon till service time at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville. Visitation will be from 5-8PM on Wednesday, December 29th at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY 5110 Gallatin Rd. at Briley Pky. 1-(615)-865-1101
