Mr. Dwight Cary Parnell's Obituary
Dwight “Cary” Parnell was born March 17, 1956 in Mobile, AL and passed away September 21, 2020 in Murfreesboro, TN. He is preceded in death by his father, Mack Parnell and his grandparents.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Ginny Parnell, sons, Anthony “Wayne” Parnell (Shannon), Dwight “Steve” Parnell (Amy), “Jeremy” Lee Parnell (Pam), mother, Etta Ann Parnell, sister, Wanda Parnell Haggerty (David), brother, Donnie Parnell (Debbie), 7 grandchildren, Chrissy Webster Smith, Katie Parnell, Trenton Lee Parnell, Brody Wayne Parnell, Cheyanne Hope Parnell, Zachery Lee Parnell, Nicholas Ray Parnell and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Cary was loved by his brothers in the SMFS Club, Tim Samples, Mike Pherris and James Calthron.
Cary was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and loved deer and turkey hunting. He loved deep sea fishing and spending time with his family, friends and grandbabies. Cary was a Southern Baptist, born again Christian. He was good with his hands and enjoyed his profession as a Landscaper/Architect. Cary was an amazing person who touched the lives of so many. He will truly be missed.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 6pm-8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will take place on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 3pm with an hour of visitation prior.
