Ms. Edith M. Littlefield's Obituary
Edith M. Littlefield, age 87, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Porter and Florence York, four brothers and one sister. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Reynolds (Danny), Marilyn Henderson; three sons, Jeff Kendall (Lisa), Doug Gregory (Linda), Richie Littlefield (Maryann); one brother, two sisters; several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Edith loved to help others and never met a stranger, often times she went out of her way to help someone. In her spare time she loved to plant flowers in her yard especially roses and listen to WSM radio and met Marty Stewart when he was 15 years old. She loved country and gospel music, it brought her great comfort and happiness. She was considered a great cook and enjoyed making family meals. Visitation for Edith will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 4 PM until 8 PM and again on Monday, August 12, 2019 from Noon until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be conducted from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN, 37216. Entombment will follow services at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, a Nashville landmark since 1785 “Where Nashville comes to Remember”
