Mrs. Edna Erle Collier's Obituary
, Edna Erle Collier, age 86, of Hendersonville, born October 4, 1926 in Prospect, Tn. Passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013. She was a 1945 graduate of Cohn High School and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was a long time employee of the State of Tennessee. Mrs. Collier was a 60 year member of the Inglewood United Methodist Church and was a avid sports fan, especially the University of Tennessee and the Atlanta Braves. She leaves behind her loving husband John, to whom she was married for 67 years; sons. Mickey and wife Pat, Larry and wife Sue; one sister, Rosa Lee Rankin of Miami, Florida; 4 grandchildren, Michael Collier and wife Jennifer, Teble Ann Brewer and husband Dan, Curt Collier and wife Holley, Stephanie Smith and husband Shad. 9 great grand children also survive. A graveside service, for family and friends, celebrating the life of Mrs. Collier will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7 at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Jack Keller and Rev. Cherie Parker officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Inglewood United Methodist Church, 3511 Gallatin Rd. Nashville, Tn. 37216.
