We celebrate the beautiful life of Edna Mae Youree, a bubbly, feisty, and outgoing soul whose love for fashion and family brightened every day. Born on July 26th, 1934, in Nashville, TN, Edna embraced life with style and grace.
She was reunited in passing with her beloved husband, Ralph Youree, and her cherished parents, John and Mary Waggoner.
Edna's loving family includes her daughters, Deborah (Dennis) Castle and Marietta (Randy) Stutts who were her world. She was the proud grandmother of Derrick Castle, Darian Castle, Austin Stutts and Rachel Stutts-Orton; and great-grandmother to Neely Castle, Cara Castle, Everly Stutts, Crew Stutts and Maddox Orton. All her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a sparkle in her eye. She loved her family her deeply.
Edna was a people person and thrived around her friends and obtained hobbies later in her life like bingo, bowling and card games and her love for her blue Crossfire convertible sports car.
A true fashionista, she adored shopping and jewelry, always expressing herself through vibrant attire that matched her vivacious personality. She loved a good bargain, especially at Goodwill. She gained the title of Mrs. Sparkle due to her love for sequins and glitter
Edna's legacy of joy, style, and love continues to shine through her family and all who knew her. As we remember her sparkling spirit, let us celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the happiness she brought into the world.
