Mr. Edward Cox's Obituary
Edward Carlton Cox, age 70 of Madisonville, TN passed away September 13, 2013. Mr. Cox was born in Old Hickory, TN on June 26, 1943 to Johnny and Mary Cox.
He was preceded in death by his father and son, Joe Cox. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Doris Eloise Cox; son, Shelby Cox; daughters, Shelia Greer, Emily Hughes and Amanda Lanham; grandchildren, Terry, Felecia and Dale Cox, Mistie Hughes, Brandie, Joseph and Peyton Lanham; and great-grandson, Matthew Leon Jones.
A celebration of Mr. Cox’s life will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until 2 P.M. at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, Nashville, TN.
