Mr. Edward Wofford's Obituary
Edward Owen Wofford, age 76, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee. Edward was born on February 1, 1941 in Camden, Tennessee to the late Henry Haven and Irene (McCoy) Wofford.
Edward enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed going to car shows and doing car restoration. He was a volunteer ambulance driver for Sumner Country for fifteen years. He loved his family and cherished the life that he had.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife of fifty-six years, Helen Wofford.
Mr. Wofford is survived by two daughters, Alicia Gay and husband, Troy, and Sandi Goliday; one brother, Bernard Wofford; two sisters, Joann Wofford and Joy Fields; one grandchild, Casey West; one great grandchild, Brylee Futrell; three brothers-in-law’s, Tom Smith, Ronnie Smith and Carl Smith. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
