Ed was there for me hugging me at Woodlawn Cemetery in 2000 at the very moment they were laying my own daddy to rest. I will never forget that bear hug which came at just the right moment. I will also never forget going to Mount Olivet with Dodoe and Ed to show them where Melchior Thoni was buried. Talking Ed into becoming the next President of the Swiss Society of Nashville was a challenge but he stepped up and did a wonderful job after my tenure ended. And the dancing at the Swiss picnics and parties. I know he is now back dancing with his most beloved partner, Dodoe, but I will always treasure times spent with both of them. They were very special people. My deepest condolences to Sue Ellen and Ed Jr. and all the grands especially Ellie. God bless all of you.
With love,
