Effie was like a second mother to me. When I was young I used to go over to their house all the time. It was almost like I lived there. I remember one New Year's Eve I went over there that night shooting fireworks and Effie came out and got onto me.
We are so sad that our beautiful friend has left us but we know she is in God’s hands. We considered her our grandsons’, Jack and Milo, 3rd grandmother. Thank you for sharing her with us. It was always a joy to visit with her and Mr. John. The boys loved to play with the g-gkids. I know Jack had an open door policy with their refrigerator. Your entire family were so special to be such great neighbors to our boys, Mary and Frank.
All of you were angels here on earth to care for her in her last days at home as she wished. The love you gave her is so special. God bless you all.
