MINNARD, Elijah Cornell, Age 21, of Nashville, TN passed away Wednesday June 24, 2009. He is survived by his parents, Emery Minnard and Sandra McCauley; paternal Grandparents, Ophilas and Adele Minnard; maternal grandparents, Cornell and Hatsuko McCauley; siblings, Kalan, Cameron and Alexandra Minnard; Aunts and Uncles, Diana (Timothy) Wells; Cynthia McCauley, Ophelia (Barry) Shaw, Blair (Marian) Minnard; cousins Toby McCauley, Tiana Wells, Angelica Wells, Delarie Shaw, Jarrod Shaw, Blair Minnard, Kaitlyn Minnard, God-mother Lise Kelson; and special friend Diamond Muhammad. Elijah was a student at Tennessee State University majoring in Business. He was passionate about composing music, football, and community service work with Galaxy Star. He will be greatly missed. Public visitation will be on Monday from 5-8PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday Evening at 7PM at The Victory Church, 3447 Brick Church Pike Nashville, TN; 37207-2153, (615) 226-9927 with Bishop Kenneth Dupree officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7PM Tuesday Evening at the church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers and flower bearers.
