Mrs. Elizabeth "Nonnie" Chumbley's Obituary
Elizabeth Chumbley “Nonnie”, of Joelton, TN passed away on October 25, 2017 in Cheatham County. She is preceded in death by her parents; Willie Ford, Sally Tate Ford; husband, Thomas Chumbley; brothers, William Ford, J.D. Ford; and sisters, Ann Cosby, Inez Petroni, Betty Herrell, Irene Ford.
She is survived by her children, Dorothy Jean (Thomas) Case, Billy (Mary) Fann, Edward Ray (Helga) Fann, Jerry (Pat) Fann, Brenda Lee (Kirk) Harris, Terry Thomas (Kathy) Chumbley; several grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren; nephew, Elmer Cosby; and many loving friends.
Nonnie was very creative and enjoyed sewing and making dolls, clothes, and quilts. She had a love for birds and even raised many. Nonnie loved to be outside in her garden tending to her flowers. She was a wonderful lady who touched the lives of so many. Nonnie will truly be missed.

Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 1pm to 8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life ceremony will take place on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 11am with a 1hr visitation prior. Burial to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
