Elizabeth Evans, 78, of Nashville, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Born February 26, 1944, in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Russell Sheppard Boguskie and Mary Alice Reilly Boguskie.
She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly. Elizabeth could do anything she put her mind to. She was self-taught in arts & crafts and home renovation. She made beautiful homemade jewelry and furniture and enjoyed a good game or puzzle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Evans, Sr.; grandson Shawn Mixon; 5 brothers; 4 sisters.
She is survived by her children Denise (David) Robinson, Robert “Bobby” (Dawn) Evans, Jr, and Annette (Paul) Billings; grandchildren Angel Mixon, Shannon Mixon, Michael (Jennifer) Mixon, Serena (Al) Snow, and Charlotte Robinson; great grandchildren Andre, Bradley, Elijah, Stacey, Malaiya, Tayden, and Tatianna; sister Rita (Terry) Rudquist.
Visitation will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 12 pm noon until 2 pm. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will take place at 2 pm with burial following in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
