I was so pleased to have met Elizabeth in the start of my career in makeup working in the production industry in the mid 70's. There are so many great stories to share of the many shows we both worked on. I was one of the original crew of makeup women who set the makeup work in Nashville. The one show that I did not work on was Hee-Haw in which she was the head makeup for the show. It was a risky business and competition was fierce. When in the mid-season of Hee-Haw Elizabeth was in a car accident and broke her arm and was in fear of losing her job. She called me because I had worked for all hair and makeup artists and always respected and honored the women I worked for and always turned offers away. During that season I was privileged to get to go to Oklahoma to work on the 25th Anniversary of Hee-Haw. Next season she was back on set.
She also worked with a lot of Gospel Artists, I say it was an honor to have worked with her and may she rest in peace.
