I knew Liz when she was in her late 40s Early 50s. I thought she was one of the toughest women I have ever met. She taught me a lot. She showed me how to register to vote and took me to vote in my first election when I turned 18. She taught me how to love and take care of farm animals. She taught me how to grocery shop and cook on a budget. I remember her as a caregiver who often had to sacrifice her time to take care of her family especially her Aunt Millard. She tried to teach me how to bowl but I never did catch on to that. We loved going to yard sales and auctions and driving up to Kentucky to buy lottery tickets. She was a great friend and rolemodel in my life and I was blessed to have known her. My condolences to her wonderful family.
