Elizabeth Marie Ursery's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Miss Elizabeth Marie Ursery on January 21st, 2024.
Elizabeth is survived by her parents Goldie and Marshall Ursery; daughter Castle Bethany Giles; aunts Pat (Kenny) Walker and Sylvia (Donald) Meadows; cousins Scott Brown, Avery Meadows, Carrie Harrison, and Brian Harrison; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Marshall “Pee Paw” and Mattie Ursery, and Alfred and Margaret Norris; aunts Patricia Ursery, Kathy Disman, and Laura Harrison; and uncle E.J. Bernard.
Elizabeth loved God, her family, and her friends. She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School in 2000 and attended St. Cecilia Academy. She adored cats and ladybugs. She loved racing, playing soccer, wrestling, track and field, and shooting hoops in basketball. She was awarded the prestigious Silver Award during her time as a Girl Scout. She lit up a room with her vibrant and joyous personality. May her light continue to shine.
The family cordially invites guests and relatives for a time of visitation on Thursday, February 1st, 2024, from four o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening with a rosary service at seven o'clock at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A brief visitation will be held from twelve thirty in the afternoon until the funeral mass at one o'clock in the afternoon at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Elizabeth will be laid to rest after the mass at Spring Hill Cemetery.
Final arrangements for Miss Ursery are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, "Where Nashville Comes to Remember."
