Mrs. Ellen Ann Gregory's Obituary
Ellen Ann Halstead Gregory, age 76 of Cottontown, TN. passed away on Thursday, August20, 2015 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born November 30, 1938 at Pool, she was a daughter of the late Denver Brown and Grace Mattie Halstead McClung. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Norman Carson Gregory. She was a former waitress for many years.
Survivors include her son, Marcus Gregory and his wife, Micha of White House, TN; four grandchildren, Sadi, Christopher, Grace and Carson; two great-grandchildren, Bryson and Abby; sister, Loretta Grose and her husband, C. J. of Summersville; brothers, Walter “Buck” McClung and his wife, Sandra, Larry McClung and his wife, Edna and David McClung and his wife Sandra all of Summersville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Her family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, August 27 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 27 from Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
