Ms. Ellen Sears' Obituary
Ellen Louise Travis Sears, age 81, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
She was the daughter of the late William M. and Bula Hamilton Travis.
Also preceding her in death were three sisters, Sara Etta Travis, Florence Phelps and Sally Mahoney; two brothers, Walter T. Travis and William Dan Travis and beloved brother-in-law Morris Rogers, Sr.
She is survived by one daughter, Lorna Rene (John) Pyka; a grandson, Nicholas Bennett and a grand-daughter, Alexandria Rose Pyka; sister, Lucy Rogers, sister-in-law, Lydia McVey Travis. A host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 5-8 PM at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 East Main Street, Lexington, Kentucky 40507. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, 4915 Harrodsburg Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky 40356.
Serving as pallbearers will be; Morris Rogers, Jr., Mikey McKinney, Nicholas Pyka, Shane Lurty, Mike Vest and John Pyka.
