Elmarie Hix Morehead's Obituary
MOREHEAD, Elmarie H. of Madison, TN passed away December 15, 2011. She was born in Jackson County, TN on December 30th to the late Charlie and Avie Hix. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Frank Morehead. Brothers and sisters-in-law, Mavis Blaylock, James and Judy Morehead, Ruth and Larry Thomas, Tammy Blaylock. She is also survived by cousins, Earl and Nina Kirby, Everett Poteet, Tim, Wanda, and Brandon Kirby, Mary Shiek, Mike and Mary Lea McSorley, Virginia Lea Wall, and many nieces and nephews. Marie spent her career working at J.C. Bradford as a transfer clerk and also at JoAnn Etc. where she shared with customers her creative knowledge of quilting and sewing. Marie was a member of Inglewood Baptist Church where she was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. A Funeral ceremony will be held on Monday December 19, 2011 at 11AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Dr. Kevin Shrum officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2-6PM, Sunday from 1-6PM and Monday from 10-11 at Spring Hill. The church family at Inglewood will serve as pallbearers and her Sunday School classmates and deacons at Inglewood Baptist will serve as honorary pallbearers.
