Mrs. Elna Azlee "Lee" Patterson's Obituary
Elna Azlee “Lee” Patterson, 81, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Lee was born on June 8, 1936 in Fairview, Tennessee to the late Tommy Mangrum and Ruby (Sullivan) Mangrum.
Lee was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed a long career as a Day Care Teacher at Inglewood Baptist Church. Until recently, she worked as a show hostess at the Grand Ole Opry where she met her husband of the last six years, Bill Kelly. Lee loved working at the Opry and developed special friendships with many of her co-workers. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. Her smiling face will be truly missed.
Lee is preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Pennington; brother, Ezell Mangrum; and first husband, Holland “Pat” Patterson. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Kelly, who cared for her during her failing health; daughter, Gayle Mitchell and son-in-law, Jim Carle; and brother, Vernon Mangrum.
Visitation with the family at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 3 from 4-8pm and again, Thursday, January 4 from 12-2pm followed by a celebration of life service at 2pm.
