Mrs. Elnora "Nora" Justice's Obituary
Elnora Justice, 87, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Born December 15, 1933, in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late William Alton Burnett and Willie Mae Hill Burnett.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly. She was a Christian lady and quite possibly the kindest person you could’ve met. She enjoyed knitting, trips to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, the Christmas holiday season and Cracker Barrell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Justice; brother William Burnett; sisters Gloria Gammons, Mae Byars, and Darlene Ulrich.
She is survived by her son Paul Douglas (Kay) Joyce; grandchildren Brandon Reed Joyce and Shannon Brooke (Mario D’Agostaro) Joyce; great grandchild Taylor Grey Joyce; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 7, from 11 am until 2 pm. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm with Brother Nick Tidwell officiating. Interment will take place in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nora’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
