Mrs. Eloise Robertson Belote's Obituary
Eloise Robertson Belote, 98, of Nashville, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022. Born August 8, 1923, in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Otis Robertson and Nellie Lackey Robertson.
Eloise was raised in East Nashville. She was a retired elementary school teacher with Metro Nashville Public Schools and loved every student who passed through her doors. She was a member of West End United Methodist Church and the James Robertson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Eloise enjoyed watching sports on television, especially PGA events. She also enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends at the Nashville Women’s Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Richard Belote, Sr.; daughter Jennifer Lynne Belote; sister Juanita Browning; brother Marvin Earl Robertson.
She is survived by her sons James Richard (Diane) Belote, Jr. and Louis Robertson Belote; grandchildren Jennifer Lea (Ben) Blansett and James R. (Emily) Belote, III; great grandchildren Katherine and Finnegan.
