Mrs. Elona Jean-Francois Damassi's Obituary
Mrs. Elona Jean-Francois Damassi, age 58 of Antioch, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021. She was born in Haiti on December 15, 1963 to the late Mesol and Rosanena Jean-Francois. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband Thervy Damassi, children Juna Damassi and Ralph Damassi, beloved grandson Jaivey Damassi, four sisters, five brothers, and a host of extended family and friends.
Elona was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was loving, kind, and happy, and she always put others before herself. She loved people unconditionally and had a forgiving heart. Elona’s faith was very important to her, and she was a very active member of her church. She enjoyed writing and singing songs for church. She was also a teacher, counselor, and prayer warrior. Elona loved cooking, and was very good at it, making especially delicious rice, beans, and fried chicken. She was also gifted with sewing, and even made her children’s clothes when they were in school. Elona also adored her grandson. He was the light of her life, and her favorite person in the world. Elona was loved deeply by those who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held on Sunday December 26, from 5pm-7pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene, 510 Woodland Street in Nashville, on Monday December 27 at 11am. Burial will follow at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
