Mr. Elza Eugene Paris' Obituary
Mr. Elza Eugene “Bud” Paris, 77, formerly of Nashville and a resident of Columbia, died Monday, October 13, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center, Columbia.
The Davidson County was the widower of Linda Mai McEliney. He was a service tech for Mapco Petroleum for many years and later for Pulman Oil Company. Mr. Paris was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. He enjoyed hunting, working on cars and NASCAR.
He is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Kenny) McFall and Mary (Roger) Johnson; a son, Michael Paris; four grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his companion of twelve years, Lucy Spears. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Jean and Sue Paris.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be conducted Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11:00AM at Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Stroupe officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery Serenity Mausoleum.
