Emil P. Wanke's Obituary
WANKE, Emil P. of Hendersonville age 70 passed away March 6, 2011. He was born December 8, 1940 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. He immigrated to Chicago, IL. at age 12 with his mother Marie Wanke. Survived by loving wife Theresa, children Angela (Steve) Ragan, Lisa (Don) Dodd, Mark (Christie) Wanke , 7 beautiful grandchildren, sister Vlasta Krsek and niece Helen Krsek. Mr. Wanke served in the US Army, member of 101st Airborne Division Rakkasans, Life & Casualty-American General Ins. Co. 42 years. Funeral Mass will be conducted Friday March 11, 2011 at 1PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jeffrey Thomas Jones officiating. Interment will follow in historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 2 til 8PM at SPRING HILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY.
