Ms. Emily Spruill's Obituary
Emily Spruill, age 60 of Nashville, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015. She was born February 3, 1955 in Nashville to Joann Love Den Hertog and the late James Duncan Jr. Emily will be remembered as a loving mother who was devoted to her family.
Emily is survived by her mother and children, Alicia Carico (Trey) of Lookout Mountain, TN, Kristin Levering of Nashville, TN and Taylor Levering (Paula) of Estes Park, CO; grandchildren, Weston, Ellington and Emery Carico, Hadleigh Wharton, Blake Taylor and Ciara Campbell; great-grandchild, Paisley Taylor; sister, Cindy Lewellen (David); brother, James Duncan III (Vickie); and several nieces, nephews, and family friends.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015. A celebration of life funeral service will follow visitation at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. A private interment will follow service in the Sunny Meade section of the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery.
