Mrs. Emma "Dean" Grimes' Obituary
Emma “Dean” Grimes, age 86, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021. Born June 17, 1935 in Old Hickory, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Albert Davis and Carrie White Davis.
She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly. Dean became a Christian as a young girl at Judson Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and bowling. Her family will remember her for her beautiful smile and wonderful abilities in the kitchen, especially her meatloaf and brownies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Grimes; a grandson Zachary Grimes; and a brother Doug Davis.
She is survived by her sons Donald Eugene Grimes and Jeff (Teresa) Grimes; sister Doris Hicks; brother Jimmy (Myrna) Davis; grandchildren Candace (Jarod) Roth, Bo (Caitlin) Grimes, Kristin (Brian) Grimes Pascarella, and Jenna (Jeremy) Humphrey; great grandchildren Cadence, Kailee, Wyatt, Warren, Leia, Luke, Isaac, Silas, and Liam.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, August 13th at 1:00 PM in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
