Mrs. Ernestine Lawson Johnson's Obituary
Ernestine Lawson Johnson, age 67 of Nashville, passed away September 12, 2013. Mrs. Johnson was born in McNairy Co., TN on December 16, 1945 to Harom Poumer and Olivia Warren Martin Lawson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Lawson.
She is survived by her husband, James Michael Johnson; son, Andrew Rogers; brother, Ernest Lawson; sisters, Nettie Lawson Gastel, Patsy Lawson Martin, Nancy Lawson Hurst and Sherry Lawson Henry; grandchildren, Karis, Ian, Asa and Cloe Rogers.
A celebration of Mrs. Johnson’s life will be conducted at 12 PM, Saturday, September 21, 2013 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 8 PM on Friday, September 20 and from 10 AM until the time of service Saturday at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
