Essie Louise Dillingham's Obituary
Essie L. Dillingham, age 90, of Madison, Tennessee passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026. Mrs. Dillingham was born in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee on June 22, 1935, to the late Joe Cephus and Dorchie Lee Thompson King.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Dillingham, daughter, Jeanette Basham, sons, Charles F. Dillingham, Jr. and Gary W. Dillingham.
Surviving are her children, Glenda Ashford, Patricia (Gary) Potter, Nancy Beal, Judy Darks, Sandra Potter, Charlene (CJ) Duplessis; brothers, Jimmy King, Ronnie King, and Donnie King. She had 26 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, and 27 great great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 2 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends from 4 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, and again on Thursday, March 19 at 11 am until 2 pm.
