Esther Bright's Obituary
Esther Fansler Bright, age 91, January 18, 2012 Born September 27, 1920 in Parsons, West Virginia, survived by a son, James Black, 5 grandchildren, and multiple great grandchildren from Baltimore, MD. Esther was a woman of energy, drive, and humor.Her legacy will be written in the many children whose lives she influenced by her care. In her early years, she ran her church's nursery and raised multiple nieces and nephews while their parents participated in the WWII war effort in the Baltimore shipyards. The final 30 years of her life she spent providing loving care to the family of Dr. and Mrs. George Allen, who honor and remember her as a member of their family.Although she never finished high school, she had a passionate love of reading and learning that she passed on the all of her many. Esther was a devoted member of The Nazarene Church, both in Baltimore and Nashville. Memorial services are to be determined, and contributions in her honor may be made to: The Children's ministry, First Church of the Nazarene, Nashville, TN.
