I will always remember Ethel for being there for me as a very young girl, having her first baby, and her first granddaughter. They lived 2 houses down from us all my childhood life. She was a spitfire and would tell you off in a minute, but it came from love. Her house was always open (maybe a little more so on bingo nights lol), she was a great woman, I am proud to have known her and loved her. I'm so sorry, Lester and Robert. It's a very hard thing to get used to, but she will always be with you all. She hasn't gone; she's just playing bingo somewhere, waiting for you guys.

Gary Ray (her nephew) and her had a crazy relationship. They would pick and play and tell jokes, and had special names they called each other (which I cannot put on this website). She was and will always be a beautiful and wonderful person. She would call Gary Ray every time Kroger had coffee on sale so he could stock up. There isn't anything she wouldn't do for you if she could. She loved her family. Ethel Jo had a collection of "Tweedy Birds" and we continued to find as many as we could for every special event in her life. We love and will miss her very much. Our hearts go out to the family, who will miss her so very much. May God heal their hearts. Lester, thank you so much for all you did for your Mama. She is blessed to have you.
