Ethelyn Regina Link's Obituary
LINK, Ethelyn Regina, age 90, of Nashville, was born July 16, 1918 and passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009. She was a life long member of Monroe Street United Methodist Church. Miss. Link was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Helena Catignani Link; a sister, Mary Louise Medley; and three brothers, Harry Jr., John and Thomas Link. She is survived by her brother, Robert Link; niece and devoted caregiver Jean Wallace along with her children, Beth (Tom) Deweese, Elaine (Pat) Goad, Mick (Norma) Wallace, Bob (Bev) Wallace, and Sam Wallace, Jr.; many nieces and nephews; and loving friends, Ted Scott and John Richards. The family would like to say a special Thank You to the staff of Woodcrest at Blakeford for their loving care. The family will receive friends from 2-8pm Thursday and again from 12-1pm Friday at the Spring Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Rosemary Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sam Wallace, Bob Wallace, Mick Wallace, Tom Deweese, Pat Goad, and Jack Link. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Monroe Street United Methodist Church, 700 Monroe Street, Nashville, TN 37208 or to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
