Eudora Williams Etheridge's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Eudora Williams Etheridge on January 11th, 2024, in Gallatin, Tennessee.
Eudora was born on July 14th, 1932, in Lauderdale County, Alabama, to the late Don and Lonnie (Haygood) Williams. She was affectionately known as "Joann Mitchell." She resided in Portland, Tennessee, and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons Larry McGlocklin and Owen Ashworth Sr., and daughter Reba Ann McGlocklin. She is survived by her sons Tommy (Rhonda) Mitchell and Lee Mitchell; daughter Tina Mitchell (Bobby) Taylor, Jr.; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
The family cordially invites guests and relatives for a time of visitation at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Monday, January 22nd, 2024, from four o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening, and on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024, from twelve o’clock in the afternoon until two o’clock in the afternoon, with a service and burial to follow, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216.
Final arrangements for Ms. Etheridge are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, “Where Nashville Comes to Remember.”
