Mrs. Eva Nelle Scott's Obituary
SCOTT, Eva Nelle Goolsby-age 83 of Nashville joined her Lord and Savior Monday, Nov 13, 2017. Preceded in death by mother Eldrith Wright Roberts Goolsby, father Shelby Edith Goolsby, brothers Charles Franklin Goolsby, Bruce Willard Goolsby Sr, David Herman Goolsby, sister Virginia (Jenny) Bryn Hunt. Survived by her loving husband of over 64 years Jack Scott, daughters Terrie Jennette Scott and Tammie Lou Scott, sister Beatrice Alberta Hall, and brother Henry Neal Goolsby (Linda). Mrs. Scott served faithfully at Donelson Church of Christ. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, Nov 20, 2017 from 10am-12noon, funeral service immediately following, conducted by Russ King at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Pike, Nashville TN. Friends and family serving as Pallbearers. Flowers are welcome, or in lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Church of Christ Disaster Relief Fund. The family was like to express their heartfelt thanks to her dedicated care giver Mary Ann Patterson, Aseracare Hospice team Vickie Burnett, LaRisa Elliott, Abby Jackson, Tijuana Castleberry and neighbors Ronnie and Crystal Goodin for the love and kindness they showed for Mrs. Scott.
