Mrs. Eva Cathryn "Cricket" Woodall's Obituary
Eva Cathryn “Cricket” Woodall, 73, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020. Born November 17, 1946 in Nashville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late James William Patterson, Sr, and Eunice Cathryn Martin Patterson.
Cricket was an alumnus of East Nashville High School and a member of City Road Chapel United Methodist Church in Madison. She worked for Service Merchandise in Nashville and later handled customer care for Kmart. Everyone that knew Cricket loved her. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who just happened to be the best dancer in the family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years James C. “Jim” Woodall; son John Northcutt; brother Timothy Ray Patterson.
She is survived by her sons Troy Northcutt and Chris (April) Northcutt; daughters Stephanie (Sam) Miller, Julie (Steve) Collier and Celeste J. Woodall; brother James W. (Pamela A.) Patterson, Jr, and Phillip A. Patterson; sister Connie L. (Mark) Danardi; daughter-in-law Cindy Northcutt; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 PM until 8 PM on Wednesday, June 24, at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 25, at 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Jay Vorhees officiating. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville. The funeral will be livestreamed. A link to the livestream will be added to the top of this obituary on Thursday morning.
