Ms. Evelyn Elizabeth Herbert's Obituary
Ms. Evelyn Elizabeth Herbert, age 80 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on August 31, 1941 to the late Robert and Levois Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Eleanor Davis. She is survived by her children Vicky Todd (John) and Ronald Scott (Pauline), grandchildren Tenese Scott and Janai Todd, aunt Ann Geter, first cousin Valerie Mason, and friend Linda Howell who was like a sister to her, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Evelyn was a fiercely independent, and spirited person. She was “spicy” and told it like it was. Evelyn always did things her way, and you never had to wonder what she was thinking. Evelyn loved music, especially 60’s through 80’s R&B, and dancing. She also loved to cook, solve crosswords, play solitaire, and play cards. Evelyn was quite the character, and she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held for Ms. Herbert at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Saturday July 9, 2022 at 12pm in the chapel, with the family receiving visitors one hour prior.
