Mrs. Evelyn Louise Rayburn's Obituary
Evelyn Louise (Ferrell) Rayburn, 89, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018. She was born in Portland TN, on January 8, 1929. Evelyn was the daughter of the late James Thomas Ferrell and Helen Louise (Forbis) Ferrell. Evelyn was the last of their two children. Evelyn was employed at the State of Tennessee and later self-employed in the wedding, florist and catering business. First and foremost, in her life however, were her children and her family. Evelyn is survived by her three children, Patricia Diane Medley, Wanda Carol (Edward) Andrews, and James Marshall Rayburn; 6 grandchildren, Lori Ann (Hardin) Tackett, Jason Hardin (deceased), Leanne (Chris) Reeves, Stephanie (Josh) Vargo, Drew Rayburn and Meredith Rayburn; 6 great-grandchildren, Erica Tackett, Skylar (Heather) Tackett, Gabby (Tyler) LeVan, Bryson Tackett, Gavin Reeves, Caleb (Hope) Sabin, Kaitlyn Sabin; and 4 great-great-grandchildren, Bryson Tackett, Emma Reeves, Mason Sabin and Weston LeVan. There will be a private family viewing and comments at Spring Hill Funeral Home followed by the burial at the Nashville Memorial Cemetery with her husband Robert James Rayburn a World War II Army Veteran.
