Mrs. Evelyn Trumphour's Obituary
Evelyn Trumphour, 91, of Nashville, Tennessee stepped into eternity on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. She was born July 19, 1924 in Wartrace, Tennessee to the late Walter L. and Elizabeth (Osteen) Phillips. She is predeceased by her parents, her step-mother Adele Phillips, her sister and brother-in-law Wendell and Helen Needham, and son-in-law Dale Bishop.
She is survived by her son, Tony (Tracey) Trumphour of Mt. Juliet., twin daughters, Donna Bishop of Nashville and Dixie (Jerry) Dixon of Greenbrier; her grandchildren Troy (Annette) Bishop of Hendersonville, Tori (Dustin) Newman of Mt. Juliet, and Taylor (Brittany) Trumphour of Old Hickory; her great-grandchildren Jake and Ella Bishop and Paisley Newman – a family to whom she was devoted.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road., Nashville, TN. with Joe Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Trumphour, Jake Bishop, Dustin Newman, Josh Cantwell, Kim Wilson, and Jerry Dixon.
The family expresses their deep appreciation to her beloved Dr. David A. Jarvis and staff at Frist Clinic, Nashville, Tennessee.
